This role is essential in providing high-quality care and support to our residents in a variety of settings, including assisted living and nursing homes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the comfort and well-being of patients, while adhering to all health regulations and standards. Duties Provide direct support to residents, assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming. Administer medications as prescribed, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. Monitor patients' health status, reporting any changes or concerns to the appropriate medical staff. Prepare and serve nutritious meals according to dietary guidelines. Assist with heavy lifting when necessary, ensuring the safety and comfort of residents during transfers. Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents by following proper sanitation protocols. Experience Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred, particularly in roles involving patient monitoring or direct support. Familiarity with medication administration protocols is highly desirable. Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks safely and effectively is essential. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality is required.
