Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate, patient, and dependable caregiver to join our Memory Care team on evening shift (6am-2pm). This position focuses on providing individualized care and support to residents living with dementia and other memory-related conditions. The ideal candidate is calm under pressure, attentive to resident needs, and passionate about creating a safe, structured, and comforting environment. Responsibilities Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility Provide redirection, reassurance, and emotional support to residents experiencing confusion or behaviors related to dementia Assist with meals, hydration, and evening routines Encourage resident engagement and social interaction Maintain a safe and secure environment within the Memory Care community Complete documentation and communicate changes or concerns to nursing and management staff Assist with housekeeping and laundry tasks as needed Respond appropriately to emergencies and resident needs Qualifications Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or home & community care environments preferred Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide compassionate support to residents and their families Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations Reliable attendance and teamwork essential Must pass background check Certification in first aid and CPR required; additional certifications such as medication administration or Hoyer lift training are a plus Benefits Medical, Dental, Vision Benefits Paid Time Off Paid training opportunities Join us in providing exceptional evening care that enriches lives!
