Position Overview & What You'll Do:
As a Direct Support Professional with Bread of Life Care you will provide direct support to individuals in home and community settings. Shift structures and client needs vary, allowing us to match you with opportunities that fit your strengths and schedule. Depending on the specific assignment, duties may include: Maintaining a safe, supportive, and structured environment Meal planning, preparation, and cooking Light housekeeping and home maintenance Driving and transporting clients to appointments, errands, or community activities Assisting with personal care, bathing, and hygiene needs as required Supporting daily morning, evening, or overnight routines
What We're Looking For:
18+ years old Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation suitable for client transport High School Diploma/GED (and a professional approach to care) Tech-savvy (comfortable using smartphones for documentation and scheduling) Comfortable assisting with varying levels of personal care needs Experience with mobility assistance (or a willingness to learn) Ability to lift up to 50 lbs CPR certified (or willing to become certified) Reliable, punctual, and professional Commitment to passing a background check
