Job Description
Resident Aide / Caregiver Positions open as of 08/24/26 Hours/shifts Available - Swing shift (2PM-10PM). Full time and part time availability. Weekend availability is a must. We pay a $1 more an hour for weekend shifts. Marjorie House Memory Care Community in McMinnville is currently looking for professional care staff to work in a resident centered, caring environment for those with a diagnosis of Dementia. We are looking for individuals to join our team who will strive to meet our mission of "Building a foundation for a legacy of loving care".
Overview/Job Responsibilities:
- Know and understand resident service plans and care needs
- Assist residents with ADL's (activities of daily living) including, but not limited to dressing, toileting, ambulating, bathing, personal hygiene and eating
- Provide excellent dementia communication to residents and family members
- Report to the administrator, nurse and authorized designee on shift
Qualifications:
(training will be provided after hire date)- Must obtain a Food Handler Permit
- Must obtain a First Aid Card
- Must complete training assigned through Oregon Care Partners
- Must be able to lift 25lbs
- Must be able read, write and communicate with staff and residents in English
- Basic computer skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be 18 years old
