Job Description
Overview We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Caregiver to join our team at Meadowlark Memory Care. As a Caregiver, you will play a critical role in supporting our residents' health and well-being by safely administering medications and assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) in accordance with state regulations and company policies. Schedule available is- Saturday & Sunday 6am-2pm or Saturday-Monday Responsibilities Provide direct patient care, including monitoring vital signs and assisting with daily living activities. Observe and report changes in patients' conditions to the healthcare team promptly. Assist with caregiving tasks, including cooking and cleaning to maintain a safe and hygienic environment for residents. Engage with seniors in a compassionate manner, promoting their dignity and independence. Assist residents with ADLs such as grooming, dressing, bathing, and toileting Respond to resident calls and needs promptly with a friendly and caring attitude Assist with light housekeeping, laundry, and mealtime preparation and support Participate in training sessions and staff meetings Skills Prior experience working in assisted living, memory care, or long term care preferred. Excellent communication skills to interact compassionately with residents and their families. Ability to work efficiently without direct supervision and as part of a team. Compassionate, patient, and respectful of the aging population. Familiarity with electronic health record systems is advantageous.
