No Experience Required! Are you a compassionate person looking to make a real difference in people's lives? We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as entry-level caregivers. You do not need prior caregiving experience to apply—we provide the training, mentorship, and tools you need to succeed. If you have a big heart and a strong willingness to learn, we will teach you the rest!
Role Overview:
As a Caregiver at Assisting Hands Home Care, you will be responsible for providing personalized non-medical support services to our clients in their homes. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with our team to assist the elderly and individuals with disabilities in maintaining their quality of life. You'll be providing care on-site in client homes in the Southwest Portland Oregon Metro area, ensuring that our clients' needs are met while supporting their dignity and independence.

Assisting Hands® is a home care franchise company that emphasizes exceptional customer service and highly personalized in-home care to meet the needs of our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist clients with activities of daily living such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication reminding/assistance. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, ensuring their comfort and well-being. Help clients with mobility and physical exercises as needed. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, adhering to excellent hygiene standards. Collaborate with other team members to ensure comprehensive care for clients and provide necessary updates on client progress.
Qualifications:
You're a great fit if you have the following skills. Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. Empathy and compassion for those in need of assistance. Willingness to learn and complete required entry-level training or certifications (such as CPR and First Aid). Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to handle physical demands of the job, including lifting and assisting clients.
Bonus If You:
Have first-aid and CPR certification. Have experience working with clients with specific needs, such as memory care. Possess additional languages spoken besides English.
Employment Type & Availability:
This position is Part-Time to Full-Time. Our goal is to match caregivers and clients so that each are happy with the work performed and support it provides. We also strive to get caregivers the desired number of hours based on client needs.
Location:
This position is on-site only in client homes in the Southwest Portland Oregon Metro area.
