In this vital role, you will provide companionship, support with daily activities, and ensure a safe, engaging environment for those in need of assistance. Your efforts will enhance quality of life, and foster a warm, respectful atmosphere for our individual. This paid position offers an opportunity to build rewarding relationships while contributing to the well-being of others. Responsibilities Offer companionship and emotional support to older adults fostering a positive and engaging environment. This position does NOT require any patient care you will only provide 1:1 supervision for safety purpose. Monitor behaviors and provide redirection when necessary and supervise during mealtime to promote proper nutrition and hydration. Encourage participation in recreational activities to promote active living. Monitor resident interactions and report any changes in condition in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Assist with light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning common areas and residents' personal spaces to ensure a safe and comfortable environment. Qualifications Prior experience working with dementia or Alzheimer's patients, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health care is highly preferred. Knowledge of patient observation techniques, dementia care (including Alzheimer's care), memory care practices. Familiarity with patient monitoring, vital signs measurement, and patient transfer methods. Certification or training in CPR is required; additional certifications related to healthcare or caregiving are advantageous.
