Role Overview:
As a Personal Care Aide at Homewatch CareGivers, you will be responsible for providing essential home care services to clients, ensuring their dignity, independence, and safety. In this role, you'll work closely with a team dedicated to enhancing the lives of our clients and their families, making a significant impact within the healthcare continuum. You'll have the flexibility to work either full-time or part-time hours, ensuring a work-life balance while contributing to a compassionate cause.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming. Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' quality of life. Support clients with mobility and physical activities to maintain their independence. Monitor and report changes in clients' health and well-being to supervising staff.
Qualifications:
You're a great fit if you have the following skills. Experience in personal care or a related field, ideally with a focus on senior care. Compassionate and patient demeanor, demonstrating a commitment to quality care. Strong communication skills, with fluency in English. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, as needed.
Bonus If You:
Have certifications in First Aid and CPR. Possess additional training in dementia or Alzheimer's care. Are proficient in a second language to support diverse client needs.
