Overview Join our dedicated team as a Direct Care Worker and become a vital part of providing compassionate, personalized support to individuals with diverse needs. In this role, you will deliver essential assistance that promotes independence, safety, and well-being for residents in their homes.

  • Malvern, PA 19425-Chester Springs, PA Duties Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene Monitor patient health and recording care plans in compliance with HIPAA regulations Companion Care and Social Support Homemaker Services (light housekeeping, laundry) Meal Preparation and Nutrition Support Medication Reminders Errands Assistance Respite Care Dementia or Alzheimer's Care Experience Prior experience working in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments is highly preferred Demonstrated ability to perform patient observation, monitor vital signs, and assist with medication administration Experience working with individuals with autism, developmental disabilities, or neurodevelopmental disorders is advantageous Knowledge of dementia care, memory care strategies, hospice care principles, and Alzheimer's support enhances your effectiveness in this role Familiarity with HIPAA standards ensures confidentiality and proper handling of sensitive information Hands-on experience using patient transfer equipment such as Hoyer lifts or patient transfer methods is beneficial Certification in CPR and First Aid is required or highly recommended to ensure immediate response during emergencies
