Personal Care Assistant (Floater) - Pre-K Counts Program Position Summary Our client is seeking two dedicated Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to support students in the Pre-K Counts Program for the upcoming school year. This is a floater role that requires flexibility to work at various classroom locations as needed. Candidates must be comfortable supporting children with a wide range of behavioral, developmental, and communication needs.

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM to 3:30

PM Assignment Length:

180-190 school days per year

Reporting To:

Supervisor of Special Education and Building Principal Employees will receive their daily work location assignment no later than 7:30 AM each day. Extended coverage assignments may be provided for longer-term staff absences. Responsibilities Provide one-on-one and classroom support for students in early childhood education settings. Assist students with academic, behavioral, social, and daily living activities. Implement behavior support strategies as directed by educational staff. Maintain a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment. Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and special education staff. Document and communicate student progress and concerns as required. Student Population This position supports students with diverse developmental and behavioral needs.
