Our client is dedicated to empowering individuals with developmental disabilities to live fulfilling, independent lives within their communities.
Job Description:
The Direct Care Professional plays a hands-on role in supporting individuals with daily living activities while fostering independence, dignity, and personal growth. This position is ideal for compassionate individuals seeking meaningful work and is open to candidates from a wide range of professional backgrounds. Comprehensive training is provided.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide day-to-day support with personal care, meals, and daily routines Encourage independence, choice, and self-advocacy Support participation in community outings, hobbies, and social activities Offer emotional support and build positive, trusting relationships Assist with transportation to appointments, work, and activities as needed Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable living environment Collaborate with team members, supervisors, and families to deliver person-centered care
Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years of age High school diploma or GED required Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record Willingness to obtain CPR/First Aid and medication administration certification (training provided) Prior caregiving, healthcare, or customer service experience is a plus but not required
Additional Details:
Full-time and part-time opportunities available Multiple shifts offered, including: 1st shift: 9:00 AM
  • 5:00 PM 2nd shift: 3:00 PM
  • 11:00 PM 3rd shift: 11:00 PM
  • 9:00
