- We are seeking compassionate Caregivers and Medication Staff to provide personal care assistance and support the needs of seniors in a personal care home setting. As a Caregiver, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for the residents you care for.
Duties:
- Assist clients with personal care tasks, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals after medication certification is completed
- Assist with meals and dining
- Help with facility housekeeping tasks
- Monitor and report changes in health or behavior
- Ensure residents' safety and well-being at all times
Qualifications:
- Experience with caregiving in a personal care or nursing home setting
- Knowledge of personal care practices and medication administration procedures and/or willingness to be trained
- Understanding of resident rights and senior care principles
- Familiarity with long-term care procedures and dynamics, and resident care protocols
- Valid driver's license to assist with transportation needs if applicable
- Proficiency in documentation of personal care activities and medication records
