Job Description

Personal Care Aide Christ the King Manor | DuBois, PA Looking for a career that truly makes a difference. Our Personal Care team has been providing outstanding care and services for seniors over 25 years. Our facility is a 58-bed facility, with 18 Memory Care community rooms. We are currently seeking caring and dedicated Personal Care Aides to join our team for both Full-time and Part-time positions.
Shifts:
6am-2:30pm 2pm -10:30pm Your Responsibilities as a PCA on our team: Provide exceptional Personal service and daily care to residents. Communicate effectively with residents, staff management and families. Knowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures. Provides physical resident care to include all aspects of personal hygiene and grooming. Answers call lights in a timely manner and responds accordingly to the resident's needs. Assists in maintaining acceptable nutrition for residents and documents meal intake. Knows proper technique for first aid. Completes documentation of medication reminder. Assists in maintaining a therapeutic environment for the residents. Motivates and encourages resident involvement in the participation in activities. Assists residents to and from activities. Lifting, turning, and re-positioning residents as needed. Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications :
Prior care giving experience, desired. However, willing to train candidate Opportunity for career advancement to become Certified Medication Tech Passion and drive for helping others Willingness to train new employees A desire to continue learning and improving your skill set High School Diploma or GED Must be able to pass pre-hire requirements including: Criminal background check, drug screen Previous work experience with older adults preferred but

Must be available to work every other weekend
