Experience in caregiving, education, or working with individuals with an intellectual or developmental disability, whether in a private residence or group home, is preferred. $17+ hourly and ask about the $250 contract signing incentive! Direct Care Professional Duties and Responsibilities Assist Individuals as they develop and maintain skills to improve their daily-living and social skills. Assist your client with daily tasks, such as bathing and feeding. Engage in activities with Individuals to live more independently within the community and/or be more productive and participatory in community life. Maintain annual 24 hour state mandated training requirements. Direct Care Professional Requirements and Qualifications High school diploma or GED certificate Comply with state mandated policies, standards, and regulations Complete given background checks Valid Driver's License and existing insurance Willing and able to drive individuals in personal car throughout the community
