Duties Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor residents' health by observing vital signs, reporting changes, and maintaining accurate care plans Provide medication reminders and assist with medication administration following HIPAA guidelines and care protocols Prepare nutritious meals and snacks tailored to individual dietary needs, ensuring proper food handling and safety standards Support residents during recreational activities, social engagement, and community outings to promote mental and emotional well-being Maintain cleanliness of resident rooms, common areas, and equipment through regular cleaning routines Use specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts or resident lifts safely to assist with mobility and prevent injury Document care activities accurately in compliance with healthcare regulations and facility policies Requirements Prior experience in assisted living, home health, nursing home, or group home settings is highly preferred Knowledge of patient observation techniques, vital signs monitoring, and medication administration Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; additional certifications such as HIPAA training are a plus Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, dementia (including Alzheimer's), or memory care needs is desirable Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physically demanding tasks as needed for resident support Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members, residents, and families Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to provide high-quality patient care in a respectful manner Join us in creating a nurturing environment where every resident feels supported and valued.
