We are proud to provide person-centered home care and disability support services throughout Western Pennsylvania. Job Responsibilities As a Caregiver / DSP / IDD Attendant, you may assist participants with daily living activities and community participation, including: Companion Care Services Providing companionship and emotional support Cooking meals and light housekeeping Shopping and running errands Assisting with home chores Attending medical appointments Playing games, making crafts, or watching favorite shows together Community Support Services Helping individuals build social and adaptive skills Supporting participation in community activities Going to restaurants, movies, bowling, libraries, festivals, museums, and local events Encouraging independence and community engagement Every day is different, and our participants enjoy staying active in their local communities. Flexible Schedule Options We offer flexible part-time caregiver schedules to fit your availability, including: Evening shifts Weekend shifts Part-time hours (can be as little as 4 hours, up to 28 hours per week) Flexible scheduling Perfect for: Parents College students Retirees People seeking supplemental income Individuals looking for rewarding part-time work Caregiver Job Requirements Minimum Qualifications Must be at least 18 years old Valid driver's license and auto insurance Ability to lift or transfer up to 40 pounds by yourself, and up to 200 pounds with assistance Ability to obtain required Pennsylvania clearances: o ACT 33 o ACT 34 o FBI Fingerprints Preferred Qualifications High School Diploma or GED Experience as a: o Direct Support Professional (DSP) o Caregiver o Home Health Aide (HHA) o Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) o Direct Care Worker Experience supporting individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities Why Work at accessAbilities?
