Job Responsibilities As a Caregiver / DSP / IDD Attendant, you may assist participants with daily living activities and community participation, including: Companion Care Services Providing companionship and emotional support Cooking meals and light housekeeping Shopping and running errands Assisting with home chores Attending medical appointments Playing games, making crafts, or watching favorite shows together Community Support Services Helping individuals build social and adaptive skills Supporting participation in community activities Going to restaurants, movies, bowling, libraries, festivals, museums, and local events Encouraging independence and community engagement Every day is different, and our participants enjoy staying active in their local communities.
