Job Description
Job Overview 9am to 3pm or 4pm to 8pm Flexible days We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver/Companion to provide support and assistance to individuals in need of care. This role is essential in enhancing the quality of life for seniors and individuals with disabilities by offering companionship, personal care, and assistance with daily activities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate patience, empathy, and a strong commitment to providing high-quality care. Responsibilities Provide direct support to clients in their home or community settings. Monitor clients' health and well-being, reporting any changes to family members or healthcare professionals. Implement care plans tailored to each client's unique needs and preferences. Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote social interaction and mental stimulation. Provide companionship by engaging in conversation, reading, or participating in recreational activities. Assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping tasks as required. Requirements Previous experience in senior care or caregiving is preferred but not mandatory. Knowledge of patient monitoring techniques and memory care practices is a plus. Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and their families. Understanding of care plans and the ability to follow them accurately. A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others live comfortably and independently.\ DRIVING
