Homestead Village is a thriving non-profit, CARF-CCAC accredited, Life Plan Community located just outside downtown Lancaster. We are seeking a highly skilled, enthusiastic, & passionate Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to join our community as we enhance independence and dignity for all our residents. The ideal candidate will have a passion for serving others, a genuine excitement for interacting with people and the ability to execute life enrichment activities designed for older adults.

• Supportive Services ; up to 98 residents on program

Base Pay:

Determined based upon years of experience; starting rate with no experience or med-tech certification is $15.75; plus applicable shift & weekend differentials.

Shift/Weekend Differentials:

$1.50 additional from 3:00pm-11:00pm $0.75 additional from 11:00pm-7:00am $1.25 additional on Weekends (Saturday & Sunday)

POSITION AVAILABLE

• Full Time PCA; 3:00pm-11:00pm; Supportive Services Monday-Friday, including every other weekend/holiday

Essential Job Responsibilities:

Establish respectful, warm relationships with residents. Assist resident with all activities of daily living as needed. Participate in development of residents' Support Plan. Facilitate recreational/life enhancement activities. Facilitate dining/light meal preparation. Collect data such as vital signs, as indicated. Housekeeping and laundry, as needed and assigned. Observe client and immediately report changes in condition to Supervisor. Attend all required staff meetings and complete monthly education on Relias by dates due. Adhere to all PCH policies and procedures, federal, state, and local regulations, and OSHA safety standards. Document interventions, activities, observations, etc. Perform other duties as assigned.
