as a Direct Care Worker and make a meaningful impact in the lives of those in need. We are dedicated to providing compassionate and personalized care to our clients in Myerstown, PA, and we are looking for passionate individuals to join our team.
Responsibilities:
Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, and grooming. Assist clients with mobility and daily living activities. Administer medications and monitor health conditions as needed. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients. Document client progress and report any changes to the care team. Engage clients in social and recreational activities to enhance their well-being. Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals. Adhere to all safety and health regulations while providing care.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications preferred. Previous experience in home care or a related field is a plus. Compassionate and patient demeanor with a passion for helping others. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license. Background check and drug screening required. Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
