Job Description
Hands-on Care Needed For My Mother In Quakertown Mom has Lewy body with parkinsonism, and is recovering from a small stroke. Dad is able bodied but needs help getting her out of bed in the morning and dressed, as well as getting her to bed at night, using the toilet, and giving sponge baths. Mom is actually very strong, and some days can stand up on her own, or with minimal help. Other days, she doesn't seem to be making the connections necessary for standing, so transferring her takes some muscle and a strong back. (She weighs 140). She is almost always happy and silly, or calm and quiet. She loves to sing old novelty songs.
