7:00 AM•2:30 PM Position Overview We are seeking dedicated Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to support students in educational settings. Candidates must have experience working with students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and behavioral challenges. The PCA will provide academic, behavioral, and personal support to help students succeed in the classroom and school environment. Key Responsibilities Provide one-on-one support to students throughout the school day. Assist students in achieving academic, behavioral, and social-emotional goals. Implement behavior support strategies and intervention plans as directed. Support students during classroom instruction, transitions, lunch, recess, and other school activities. Assist with adapting instructional materials and classroom activities to meet student needs. Provide physical assistance when necessary to ensure student safety and access to learning environments. Promote positive behavior, independence, and engagement in learning. Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and related service providers. Document student progress, behaviors, and relevant observations as required. Maintain confidentiality and follow all district and state regulations. Qualifications Minimum of 6 months of experience working with students who demonstrate behavioral challenges. Experience supporting individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) required. Strong communication, patience, and behavior management skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team. Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
