This role is vital in promoting independence, ensuring safety, and enhancing the quality of life for those in need of personal care and companionship. As a caregiver, you will play a key part in delivering personalized care plans, assisting with daily activities, and maintaining a safe and nurturing environment. This position offers an energetic and rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on people's lives while working flexible hours that fit your schedule. Responsibilities Assist residents or clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility Monitor patients' health status by observing vital signs, patient behavior, and overall condition Support medication administration following proper protocols and HIPAA regulations to ensure privacy and safety Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary Maintain cleanliness of living spaces by performing light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and organizing Use specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts or resident lifts to assist with mobility and prevent injury Document care activities accurately in accordance with care plans and regulatory standards Provide emotional support, companionship, and social engagement to promote mental well-being Follow safety procedures diligently during patient transfers or heavy lifting tasks to prevent injuries Requirements Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, group homes, or home & community care environments preferred Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in providing direct support to residents or clients Strong observational skills for patient monitoring and reporting changes in condition promptly Physical stamina for heavy lifting tasks and assisting residents with mobility needs Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with residents, families, and team members Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to improve the lives of others Join our team as a Part Time Caregiver if you're passionate about making a meaningful difference through dedicated caregiving.
