Devoted Companions Home Care LLC Caregiver / Personal Care Aide — Evening & Weekend Shifts Tobyhanna, PA 18466 —

Monroe County Pay:

$12.00 per hour Part-time or full-time, depending on the shifts assigned. We are seeking a dependable caregiver with home care or personal care experience to provide non-medical support in a client's home in Tobyhanna. Applicants from Tobyhanna and surrounding areas who can reliably travel to the assignment are encouraged to apply.

CARE NEEDS AND TRAINING

This assignment involves care for a bedbound client. A female caregiver is requested for the client's intimate personal care. Experience caring for bedbound clients is preferred. Hoyer lift experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Transfers, repositioning and hands-on care must follow the care plan, equipment instructions and agency training, including any required assistance from a second person. This opening follows an alternating two-week schedule with weekday evening and weekend shifts. You may apply for some or all of the available shifts. Your assigned hours and start date will be agreed upon before you begin.

7:00 p.m.-11:00 p.m.

Tuesday:

7:00 p.m.-11:00 p.m.

Wednesday:

3:00 p.m.-11:00 p.m.

Saturday:

9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m.-midnight.

AVAILABLE SHIFTS

Monday:

6:00 p.m.-midnight.

Tuesday:

6:00 p.m.-midnight.

Wednesday:

7:00 p.m.-11:00 p.m.

Friday:

3:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m.

Saturday:

4:00 p.m.-midnight. The weeks alternate. There are no Thursday openings in this rotation. Consistent weekend availability is especially helpful. Some shift adjustments may be possible if they fit the client's existing care schedule. The listed shifts are the coverage needs; they are not a guarantee that all hours will be assigned to one employee.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist with personal care and activities of daily living according to the client's care plan and your training. Provide companionship and respectful, dependable support. Assist with meals and light housekeeping as included in the care plan. Follow agency procedures and maintain client privacy. Record visits accurately through the agency's electronic visit verification system. Report changes, concerns and scheduling issues promptly to the agency.

QUALIFICATIONS

Previous caregiving, home care or personal care experience. Reliable transportation to and from the Tobyhanna assignment. Dependable attendance and clear communication. Ability to perform assigned care tasks safely and follow the care plan. Professional references and completion of required screenings, training and competency requirements before assignment.
