Role Overview:
As a Caregiver at Assisting Hands Home Care - Central, PA Office, you will be responsible for providing compassionate care and support to our clients in their homes. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with families to ensure the highest level of care and comfort for our clients. Whether you work full-time or part-time, you'll have the flexibility to choose your hours while making a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, grooming, and meal preparation. Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' quality of life. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients. Document and communicate any changes in clients' health or behavior to the appropriate team members. Collaborate with family members to ensure individualized care and support plans are followed. Take ownership of client satisfaction and help drive positive outcomes.
Qualifications:
You're a great fit if you have the following skills. Experience in a caregiving role or related field. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to perform physical tasks related to caregiving. Compassionate and patient demeanor in working with clients. Flexible availability to meet clients' needs, including weekends.
Bonus If You:
Possess experience caring for individuals with specific needs (e.g., Alzheimer's, dementia). Can work day shifts during the week.
Employment Type & Availability:
This position is available as Full-Time or Part-Time, with flexible hours from Monday through Sunday.
Location:
This position is on-site only, located in York, Pennsylvania.
