Comfort Keepers® Farmington is looking for an Internal Care Coordinator — the person who keeps our caregivers matched to clients, our phones answered with care, and our operation running smoothly every single day. This is a full-time, salaried, on-site role based in our Farmington office. Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM. There is a rotating on-call rotation, approx. 5-7 days per month. About Comfort Keepers® Comfort Keepers® helps seniors live independently, safely, and joyfully in their own homes. Our Farmington team serves families across the area with personalized in-home care, and the Internal Care Coordinator is the operational backbone that makes that possible. Roles & Responsibilities Your workflow will look like this: Scheduling (60%) — Own the daily caregiver schedule. Fill open shifts when caregivers call out. Resolve coverage gaps efficiently and effectively. Keep the schedule accurate in real time. Proactively communicate with all impacted parties to ensure smooth operations. Phones & Communication (20%) — Answer inbound calls from clients, families, and caregivers. Resolve concerns, confirm shifts, and route calls to the right person — all with warmth and professionalism. Administrative & Records (20%) — Maintain accurate client and caregiver records in our scheduling system. Document calls and changes. Keep the office organized and well-stocked. On-Call Rotation (rotational) — Share in the after-hours on-call rotation, approximately 5-7 days per month. Respond to coverage emergencies within 15 minutes. Done from home. Intake & Caregiver Fill-In (occasional) — Handle inbound care inquiries when the Care Navigator is unavailable. Step in for direct caregiving in rare situations when a client shift can't otherwise be covered (training provided). What We're Looking For 2+ years of experience in scheduling, customer service, healthcare support, or office coordination Excellent phone presence — warm, professional, and effective even with stressed or upset callers Strong organizational skills; able to manage a shifting schedule across many caregivers and clients at once Calm under pressure — when priorities change and calls stack up, you don't drop the ball or struggle to stay balanced Quick-thinking, able to spring into action, think creatively, and figure out how to "make it happen" in the best of ways, with the support of your team Comfortable with web-based computer systems and willing to learn our scheduling software (training provided) Strong multitasker comfortable with juggling competing priorities and processing a variety of communications in an efficient manner Willing to learn and grow in the role - open to feedback, collaborative, and driven by owning your role within a team Willing to join the on-call rotation and, if needed, provide occasional caregiver fill-in coverage Preferred (not requ ired): Prior home care, assisted living, or healthcare staffing experience Familiarity with scheduling software such as WellSky, ClearCare, AxisCare - we use a newer system called Viv.
