Part-time Female Autism Caregiver with Driving

Job Summary:

Looking for a FEMALE caregiver to assist my twenty-three year-old daughter, who has Autism, with daily activites. Responsibilities include assistance with self-care, such as bathing, brushing hair, cleaning room, laundry and transportation to community events, such as to horseback riding and amusement parks. The position also includes some housekeeping. The appropriate candidate needs to be available to work on Saturdays from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. There is variability on the additional days. Only looking for female candidates with a clean background history and a good driving record. The appropriate candidate will be patient, caring, open to learning and has had some experience working with either children, adolescents or adults with developmental delays or Autism. Some experience and knowledge in ABA therapy is a plus. Please do NOT apply if you do not have a stable work history or a reliable car and car insurance as the position does require transportation and we are looking for someone who is looking for a long-term position...minimum one year. The location of the job is in the city of Claremont, but will include driving. There will be .70 cents mileage reimbursement.
