Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver/Companion to provide exceptional support and companionship to individuals in various care settings. This role involves assisting with daily activities, ensuring safety, and promoting overall well-being. The ideal candidate will be energetic, attentive, and committed to enhancing the quality of life for those they serve. Whether working in assisted living facilities, home care environments, or group homes, you will play a vital role in delivering personalized care that respects each individual's dignity and independence. Assignment is for Monday & Friday 9:30a - 1:30p. Recently retirement mature women are encouraged to apply. No certification necessary Duties Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning and laundry Support medication reminders. Assist with transportation to appointments & running errands Document patient observations accurately and maintain confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA standardsQualifications Prior experience in home health, assisted living, nursing homes, or group homes is highly preferred Certifications such as CPR, First Aid, and HIPAA compliance are advantageous Experience working with individuals with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, autism spectrum disorder, or developmental disabilities is desirable Strong communication skills to effectively interact with residents, families, and healthcare teams Compassionate attitude with a commitment to providing respectful and dignified care outstanding care that enriches lives.
Pay:
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
