Job Overview Join our dedicated team as a Live-In Caregiver, where you will provide compassionate, personalized care to individuals in a home setting. This rewarding role involves supporting clients with daily activities, ensuring their safety, and promoting independence. As a Live-In Caregiver, you will be an essential part of creating a comfortable and nurturing environment, fostering trust and improving quality of life for those in your care. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference while working in a supportive and dynamic environment. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patient health through observation of vital signs and overall condition, promptly reporting any concerns Administer medications accurately following medical instructions and document all medical records in Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems Support clients with specialized needs such as dementia care, Alzheimer's care, hospice care, or working with individuals with developmental disabilities Operate medical equipment like Hoyer lifts, catheter care supplies, and other assistive devices to ensure safety and comfort Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary restrictions and assist with meal planning and preparation Maintain a clean, safe living environment through light housekeeping tasks including laundry and general cleaning Requirements Proven experience in senior care, home health, assisted living, or long-term care environments Knowledge of medical terminology, medication administration, vital signs monitoring, and HIPAA regulations Certifications such as CPR and first aid are required; additional certifications like hospice or dementia care are a plus Ability to work independently in a live-in setting while maintaining professionalism and compassion Strong patient observation skills to detect changes in health status or behavior promptly Experience using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) or EHR systems for accurate documentation Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with clients' families and healthcare professionals This role is ideal for compassionate caregivers eager to provide high-quality home-based care while enjoying the benefits of a supportive work environment.
