Requirements & Responsibilites:

Required Shift is 10 AM - 4PM, Monday-Friday Knowledge and patience in Dementia and/ or Alzheimer's care High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver's license or reliable transportation Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills Comfortable with technology and logging into and maneuvering through online portals to report care as needed Adheres to At Home Palmetto's policies and is committed to act legally and ethically within the scope of work Eager to engage in constant process improvement to refine our tools and operations for improved care delivery Must pass drug and background screening Must pass TB screening or have a valid screening within past 12 months Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as feeding, bathing, dressing, and grooming as needed Provide companionship and emotional support to clients Create and participate client hobbies and activities Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions Assist with mobility and transfers as needed Accompany clients to appointments as needed Report any changes in client's condition or concerns to supervisors Maintain accurate records of care provided and client's daily activities
