Join Our Team as an Activity/Member Assistant in Georgetown, SC! Elite Home Care, Day Centers & Transportation is looking for a compassionate and energetic Activity/Member Assistant to join our team in Georgetown, SC! If you have a passion for working with the elderly and young adults in a supportive and engaging environment, this is the perfect opportunity for you. Why Join Us? Full-time, Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM No weekends or holidays! Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Activity Director in planning and implementing engaging activities, including arts and crafts, music, games, and educational programs. Provide hands-on personal care (ADL assistance) to members, including feeding, toileting, and dressing. Foster a positive and interactive environment by engaging with members. Set up and clean activity areas to ensure a safe and organized space. Redirect behaviors as needed to promote a supportive atmosphere. Monitor and document any changes in client behavior or health, reporting to the RN Administrator. Maintain client confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
What We're Looking For:
High school diploma or equivalent Experience working with elderly or disabled individuals (preferred but not required) Reliable transportation and/or a valid driver's license CPR Certification (or willingness to obtain) Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment Clean background check and drug test Physically able to assist members with personal care tasks Apply Today!
