Job Description
This is a overnight position 11pm to 6am
Responsibilities:
- Provide assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as undressing, grooming, and toileting
- Administer medications according to prescribed schedules
- Assist with mobility and transfers, including using a power lift
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Help with light housekeeping tasks, and meal preparation
Skills:
- Experience in caregiving or a related field preferred
- Knowledge of caregiving systems and best practices
- Familiarity with medication administration and dosage management
- Basic knowledge of social work principles for providing emotional support to clients
- First aid certification is a plus
- Ability to provide compassionate care to seniors and individuals with disabilities
- Physical ability to lift and assist with transfers as needed
- Experience in home care is desirable
