Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Provide medication reminders and accurately follow care plans while maintaining HIPAA confidentiality Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences Operate (if needed) medical equipment such as Hoyer lifts, wheelchairs, and other assistive devices safely and effectively Maintain detailed documentation of care provided, patient progress, and any incidents in compliance with healthcare regulations Support clients with cognitive impairments like dementia or Alzheimer's through memory care techniques and compassionate engagement Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe living environment. Provide emotional support and companionship to promote mental well-being and social interaction Experience Prior experience working in home care settings, assisted living, nursing homes, or group homes is highly preferred but not required. Demonstrated knowledge of patient observation, medication reminders, and HIPAA regulations Hands-on experience with Alzheimer's care, dementia care, or other cognitive or physical disabilities preferred but not required Familiarity with working with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities requiring long-term support Certification in First Aid and CPR is additional certifications such as Hoyer lift training or nursing assistant credentials are a plus Experience in meal preparation, cleaning, and general home & community care enhances your ability to provide comprehensive support Ability to safely perform physically demanding tasks as needed to assist clients effectively Join us in delivering exceptional home care that empowers individuals to live comfortably and independently.
