Experienced Special Needs Child Caregiver Needed

• Start ASAP! From The Heart Home Care is urgently hiring an experienced caregiver for a special needs child in Laurens, SC. This is a highly specialized childcare case. We are looking for a calm, patient, and confident caregiver with significant experience working with children with autism and challenging behaviors . Schedule Monday
• Friday Approximately 3 Hours Per Day ➡ Exact hours will be discussed during the interview.

Client Needs & Responsibilities Provide one-on-one supervision and support in the home Engage the child in structured, age-appropriate activities Assist with daily routines and personal care as needed Help maintain a calm, safe, and predictable environment Use positive behavior support and de-escalation techniques during periods of distress Communicate effectively with the family regarding the child's day What We're Looking For Extensive experience working with children with autism

REQUIRED

Experience supporting children with significant behavioral challenges and emotional outbursts

REQUIRED

Experience with ADHD and developmental disabilities preferred Ability to remain calm, patient, and consistent during difficult situations Comfortable providing one-on-one support for a child who requires close supervision Must be dependable and reliable (attendance is critical) Strong communication skills Must have a reliable personal vehicle (REQUIRED
