Job Description We are seeking a dependable and compassionate Home Health Aide (HHA) / Personal Care Assistant to provide one-on-one care for an adult quadriplegic client in a private home setting. The ideal candidate has experience with limited-mobility clients and is attentive, patient, and respectful of client dignity and independence. Responsibilities Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and incontinence care Provide safe transfers using proper techniques and equipment (e.g., gait belt, Hoyer lift, wheelchair assistance) Assist with repositioning and comfort throughout the day Help with feeding and hydration as needed Monitor client's condition and report any changes to family or supervisor Perform light housekeeping related to client care (laundry, tidying care area) Provide companionship and emotional support Follow the established care plan and safety procedures at all times Requirements Proven experience in caregiving, particularly in home care or assisted living settings. Knowledge of patient care techniques and medication administration protocols. Ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities and varying needs. Strong observational skills for monitoring patient health and behavior. Excellent communication skills to interact compassionately with clients and their families. Capability to perform heavy lifting as required for client mobility assistance. Basic cooking skills to prepare healthy meals for clients. A nurturing attitude combined with patience and empathy towards clients. Prior experience caring for clients with quadriplegia, spinal cord injuries, or severe mobility limitations preferred Knowledge of safe transfer techniques and body mechanics Ability to lift, reposition, and assist client safely (with equipment as provided) Reliable, punctual, and professional Valid ID and ability to pass a background check Join our team as a Personal Care Aide and make a meaningful difference in the lives of those you serve!
