Male Child Caregiver (PCA) Needed•Union, SC (Special Needs Child) Immediate Staffing•Start ASAP! From The Heart Home Care is urgently hiring an experienced male Personal Care Assistant (PCA) for a special needs child in Union, SC. This position is best suited for a caregiver who is confident working with larger children and has experience supporting children with behavioral challenges and developmental disabilities. Schedule Afternoon Hours ➡ Approximately 12 Hours Per Week Client Needs & Responsibilities Provide supervision and companionship in a home setting Assist with daily routines and personal care as needed Support positive behaviors using appropriate de-escalation techniques Engage the client in age-appropriate activities Help maintain a safe, structured, and supportive environment Assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping as needed What We're Looking For Experience working with children

REQUIRED

Experience working with children with autism, developmental disabilities, or special needs

REQUIRED

Experience managing aggressive or challenging behaviors

REQUIRED

Experience with behavior support and de-escalation techniques preferred Must be dependable and reliable (attendance is critical) Patient, calm, and confident under pressure Physically capable of assisting a larger child when needed Strong communication skills Must have a reliable personal vehicle (REQUIRED•Uber/Lyft and ride-share services are not accepted for this position)
