Experienced Caregiver Needed ASAP - West Columbia, SC Immediate Staffing - Start ASAP! From The Heart Home Care is urgently seeking an experienced, dependable, and compassionate caregiver for a client in the West Columbia area who requires a high level of daily support . This is an extensive-care case requiring a caregiver who can confidently assist with personal care, mobility, household responsibilities, and the client's physical and emotional needs. Available Schedules Weekday Shift Monday - Friday ➡ 6 hours each afternoon Weekend Shift Saturday and Sunday ➡ 5 hours each afternoon Applicants may choose to work one of the available schedules or both schedules . Client Needs & Responsibilities Provide personal care and assistance with daily activities Assist with ambulation and safe movement throughout the home Complete housekeeping and help maintain a clean living environment Prepare meals according to the client's needs Run errands and assist with essential household needs Provide companionship and emotional support Support a client experiencing anxiety and depression Provide patient and compassionate care for chronic pain and mental health-related needs Help maintain a calm, safe, and comfortable home environment Observe and communicate changes in the client's condition or behavior What We're Looking For Extensive professional caregiving experience preferred Experience with personal care and ambulation assistance Experience supporting clients with anxiety, depression, chronic pain, or mental health needs preferred Must be comfortable providing a high level of hands-on care Must be willing to perform housekeeping, meal preparation, and errands Must be calm, patient, attentive, and compassionate Must be dependable and reliable—attendance is critical Strong communication and observation skills Comfortable working independently in a client's home Must have a reliable personal vehicle Uber, Lyft, taxis, and other ride-share services do not qualify
