Overview i To work In our home. We are looking for a dedicated caregivier to make a meaningful difference in the life of an adult female with special needs. As a Caregiver, you will provide compassionate, attentive support to promote safety, development, and well-being. This role offers an opportunity to foster growth, build trusting relationships, and create a nurturing environment. Your energy, patience, and enthusiasm will help shape and support continued development. Duties Knowing Sign Language is a must. Provide attentive care while ensuring their safety and comfort at all times. Assist with daily routines such as preparing meals, light cleaning and maintaining hygiene standards. Support education in our home with appropriate communication both verbal and American Sign Language, learning, play, and developmental exercises. Implement behavior management strategies to encourage positive social interactions and emotional regulation. Support, encourage and take to activities in the community. Maintain a clean, organized environment conducive to learning and play. Respond promptly to emergencies or health concerns using first aid skills when necessary. Experience Familiar with behavior management techniques to support positive growth and social skills. Certification in first aid and CPR that is approved is required. Background check is required. Proof of auto insurance required. Ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities or special needs is preferred. able to provide safety, nurturing care, and educational activities.
