Direct Care Worker - Day Shifts Guy Care Service Antioch, TN Job Details Full-time From $17 an hour 2 days ago Benefits Paid time off Professional development assistance Flexible schedule Qualifications Assisting with ADLs High school diploma or GED Driver's License Meal preparation Direct support Full Job Description Full-time DAY shifts from 7am - 7pm with an average between 36-48 hours per week. Must be able to work every other weekend as a full-time staff. Medication Administration certified preferred - candidates with their state medication certification will receive an additional $1 per hour. Overview The Supportive Living Program houses individuals from DCS Foster Care who have disabilities. Candidates who have experience with DCS youth and/or experience with DDA are highly encouraged to apply. Duties Provide assistance with the activities of daily living and support individuals to live independently and safely within their community. Light housekeeping as needed. Be able to administer medication. Qualifications Must be at least (18) years of age. High school diploma or GED required. Own reliable transportation is required along with an active Driver's License. Medication Administration certification as active is preferred. This position requires a commitment to providing high-quality care while respecting the individuality of each client.
