Yes About the Assignment The client is alert, communicates needs appropriately, and values maintaining as much independence as possible. The caregiver will provide morning personal-care assistance while supporting the client's safety, comfort, dignity, and independence.
Responsibilities May Include:
Assistance with showering, bathing, dressing, and grooming Medication reminders within the caregiver's permitted scope Mobility and transfer support as outlined in the care plan General safety and fall-prevention awareness Monitoring the client during personal-care activities Observing and promptly reporting changes in condition Maintaining a clean and safe care environment Following the established client care plan Completing required electronic visit verification and shift documentation Communicating concerns promptly to the Helping Hearts office This assignment requires a caregiver who is attentive and able to recognize when a client may need additional support during activities of daily living. Home Environment Pets are present in the home and will be secured during caregiver visits. Applicants should be comfortable working in a household where pets are present. Minimum Requirements Applicants must:
Be at least 18 years of age Have a high school diploma or GED Have verifiable caregiving, personal-care, home-care, CNA, senior-care, or related experience Be comfortable assisting with activities of daily living Possess strong observation and communication skills Be dependable and able to consistently report for accepted shifts Have a valid driver's license Have reliable transportation Maintain current automobile insurance Meet applicable driving-record requirements Successfully complete required criminal background and registry screenings Provide verifiable employment history and professional references Have a reliable working smartphone for scheduling, EVV, documentation, and agency communication Be CPR/First Aid certified or willing to obtain certification as required Complete Helping Hearts orientation and required training Complete any client-specific competency or safety training required before independently working the assignment Follow all Helping Hearts confidentiality, attendance, documentation, safety, reporting, communication, and professional-boundary policies Professional Expectations Helping Hearts caregivers are expected to arrive prepared and on time, remain attentive throughout the entire scheduled shift, follow the assigned care plan, complete documentation accurately, and immediately report significant changes, incidents, safety concerns, or care-related issues to the office.
Uniform Requirement:
