Role:
Join our compassionate team at ComForCare Home Health Care in Arlington, TX, as a Caregiver. This rewarding position allows you to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients while providing essential support in their daily activities.
Responsibilities:
Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing. Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' quality of life. Help with light housekeeping and meal preparation to maintain a safe environment. Administer medications and monitor clients' health as directed. Assist with mobility and transportation to appointments or social activities. Maintain accurate records of client care and progress. Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals. Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance caregiving skills.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in caregiving is a plus. Previous experience as a caregiver or in a similar role preferred. Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate demeanor. Ability to follow care plans and instructions from healthcare professionals. Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license. Must pass background checks and drug screening. Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.
