Job Description

Job Overview Join our compassionate team as an In Home Caregiver, where your dedication and skills will make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals needing support with daily activities and personal care. This vital role offers the opportunity to provide personalized, respectful, and comprehensive care within clients' homes or community settings. You will be a trusted partner in promoting independence, safety, and well-being for those with diverse needs, including seniors, individuals with disabilities, or those recovering from illness. Your energy and empathy will help create a nurturing environment that encourages dignity and quality of life. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts or transfer belts Monitor patients' health by taking vital signs, observing changes in condition, and reporting findings accurately while adhering to HIPAA privacy regulations Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary Administer medications following care plans and document all medication administration accurately Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe living environment to promote hygiene and comfort Support clients during outings or community activities to foster social engagement and independence Follow detailed care plans designed by healthcare professionals to ensure consistent and effective patient support Requirements Proven experience in home & community care, assisted living, nursing homes, or group homes; familiarity with Alzheimer's, dementia, memory care, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), or developmental disabilities is highly valued Certification in First Aid and CPR is required; additional training in hospice or palliative care is a plus Strong patient observation skills to identify changes in condition or behavior promptly Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physical tasks such as transferring residents using Hoyer lifts or other assistive devices Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality and privacy of patient information Excellent communication skills for collaborating with healthcare teams, residents, and family members Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred for community outings or appointments Join us in delivering exceptional home health care that emphasizes compassion, professionalism, and respect.
