Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver . The patient has been a quadriplegic since 1999. She has a very positive outlook on life and is very handicapable. She needs help with daily activities. ( bathing. dressing etc.) Duties Provide attentive and compassionate patient care, ensuring the safety and well-being of client. Assist client with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Observe and document patient conditions, reporting any changes or concerns to healthcare professionals as needed. Implement care plans tailored to individual client needs, ensuring adherence to prescribed therapies and routines. Support clients in engaging in social and recreational activities to promote mental and emotional well-being. Maintain a clean and safe environment within the home, following all health and safety protocols. Assist clients with mobility and transportation as required, ensuring their comfort during outings or appointments. Provide first aid when necessary, demonstrating knowledge of emergency procedures. Requirements Proven experience in patient care or similar roles, particularly in assisted living or home health settings. Strong skills in patient observation and documentation practices. Knowledge of first aid techniques and emergency response procedures. Ability to develop and follow care plans while maintaining client confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations. Excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrating empathy, patience, and understanding when interacting with clients. Flexibility to adapt to changing client needs and schedules is essential.
