Position Summary:
KidBridge Academy is seeking a caring, dependable, and responsible Weekend Caregiver to provide a safe, nurturing, and positive environment for children during weekend hours. The caregiver will supervise children, assist with their daily needs, and help provide age-appropriate activities that support their development and well-being.
Responsibilities:
Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times.
Provide attentive and compassionate care throughout the shift.
Assist children with meals, snacks, toileting, diapering, and other daily routines as needed.
Engage children in age-appropriate educational, recreational, and creative activities.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom and childcare environment.
Monitor children's behavior and communicate any concerns appropriately.
Provide comfort, encouragement, and positive guidance to children.
Follow all childcare, health, safety, and facility policies.
Communicate professionally and respectfully with parents, guardians, and staff.
Complete daily childcare duties and any required documentation.
Work cooperatively with other team members to maintain a positive environment.
Qualifications:
Must be dependable, patient, responsible, and attentive.
Must enjoy working with children and be able to create a warm, supportive environment.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
CPR certification is preferred not required
Applicants who are not currently CPR certified may receive CPR training.
