(ABC) General Residential Operations Transitional Living Program is to provide a structured, stable, secure and nurturing environment for youth who are ready to enter a phase of care, which will eventually transition them to independent living. ABC will provide residents with the resources and foundation to enrich and enhance their quality of life while creating an environment conducive to refinement of independent living skills with decreasing degrees of supervision. We will establish a standard through which a productive future is conceptualized, actualized, and realized. Residents shall adhere to A Better Choice core values designed to enhance personal growth, provide financial literacy training and develop the necessary skill set to allow all residents the opportunity to become a positive and productive individual within the community while transitioning residents towards independent living. We are currently hiring for a Part- Time 2nd Shift Position (3pm-11pm). Looking for someone available to work two possibly three days a week Supervise Foster Care Boys ages 14-17, assisting them with refining their life skills as they prepare to transition to Independent Living. Implement and maintain structure within the program through daily routine activities Thoroughly document all residents' activities and also dispense medications as needed Maintain a positive atmosphere Act as a role model and mentor Teach basic meal preparation and house cleaning routines Conduct daily room inspections and bed checks with a focus on safety and security Transport clients to and from school, activities, work, appointments, etc. Ensure residents' safety and well-being at all times and report incidents promptly to the appropriate authorities.
