THE ROLE

The Companion Caregiver role is built for someone who leads with heart. This position focuses on social engagement, emotional wellbeing, and light support — not heavy personal care. You might play cards, take a walk, read together, help organize mail, or simply share a meal. The impact is quiet and profound. This is an excellent fit for someone entering the caregiving field, a retired professional with time to give, or anyone who has a natural gift for making people feel seen and valued.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Provide warm, meaningful companionship and social engagement Escort clients to appointments, community events, and errands Assist with light meal preparation and cleanup Help with light household tasks: tidying, organizing, laundry Support clients with hobbies, reading, games, and activities Provide medication reminders as directed in the care plan Document visits and report any concerns to the Care Manager Offer emotional support with patience, empathy, and good humor

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

Warm, patient, and genuinely people-centered personality Valid Texas driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to pass a background check and drug screening Strong communication skills and good judgment Dependable and consistent — clients count on you being there

NICE TO HAVE

Prior caregiving, volunteer, or community service experience Comfort with older adults or individuals with mild cognitive changes Bilingual (English/Spanish) CNA, HHA, or any caregiving certification

North Dallas Pay:

$14.00 - $15.00 per hour
