Personal Care Aide

THE ROLE

As a Personal Care Aide, you'll work one-on-one with clients in their homes, providing hands-on personal care and support that helps them live safely and comfortably. You'll follow an individualized care plan developed with input from a supervising Registered Nurse, and you'll be supported every step of the way.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene Support clients with mobility, transfers, and fall prevention Prepare light meals and assist with eating as needed Perform light housekeeping: laundry, dishes, tidying common areas Provide medication reminders (not administration) Offer genuine companionship and conversation Assist with transportation to appointments and errands Document visits accurately and report any changes in client condition Follow all StillCare care plans, policies, and Texas home care standards

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

At least 1 year of caregiving, home health, or related experience Valid Texas driver's license and reliable personal vehicle Ability to pass a background check and drug screening CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to obtain before your first shift) Ability to lift and assist with physical mobility — up to 50 lbs Dependable, punctual, and genuinely kind

NICE TO HAVE

CNA or HHA certification Experience with elderly clients or individuals with disabilities Bilingual (English/Spanish) — always a plus in our service area

North Dallas Pay:

$15.00 - $17.00 per hour
