We are looking to hire 1 part-time Provider for our Corrigan, TX location and surrounding areas.
Duties:
3 days a week - 15 hours a week Assist with activities of daily living May need to go to the store ONE time week. Do laundry, light housekeeping, only. Mopping, sweeping, vacuuming the areas that the client uses only. The provider is NOT responsible for the others who live in the home. Implement and support resident care plan. Provide physical care including lifting, bathing, performing hygiene tasks, toileting, assisting with meals, and other tasks. Transfer patient in and out of beds, baths, wheelchairs, etc. Change bed linens, wash and irons residents' laundry, and assists to maintain tidiness of resident's bedrooms, closets, and dresser drawers. Engage in meaningful conversation and activities related to their individual interests. Assist with resident room, bathroom, and common area cleanliness, overall facility, and other housekeeping duties as needed. Maintain professional approach to responsibilities (uniform, start times, absenteeism, confidentiality, communication with residents, family members, other staff members and vendors, and daily work responsibilities). Promptly respond to all patient care needs. Monitor patient for changes in condition and reports changes to leadership, if delegated to do so by licensed nurse. Complete incident reports for any incidents occurred on assigned shift. Respond to all emergency situations.
Education:
High School Diploma or GED Qualifications:
Valid Driver's License and Social Security Card Candidate must pass a background check. Due to the nature of the employer's business, candidates with certain classes or types of convictions will not be considered for employment.
