POSITION SUMMARY
Part-Time / PRN Caregiver $18-$22 per hour | Flexible Part-Time Schedules | Contract Opportunity Ray of Sunshine Senior Care is seeking experienced caregivers for multiple part-time in-home care opportunities with older adults in the local area. This is a contract (1099) opportunity through our licensed caregiver registry. Caregivers choose which available client opportunities they want to accept based on location, schedule, care needs and experience.
Available schedules may include:
Weekday and weekend opportunities Morning, afternoon and evening shifts Short and extended shifts Consistent weekly schedules Occasional or supplemental hours Typical responsibilities may include: Assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming and other activities of daily living Preparing meals and providing meal assistance Providing companionship and meaningful engagement Completing light housekeeping and laundry Offering medication reminders Assisting with mobility, transfers or repositioning when required Providing transportation to appointments or errands when applicable Observing and reporting changes in a client's condition This may be a good fit if you: Want part-time caregiving opportunities that fit your availability Prefer choosing the clients and schedules you accept Enjoy working independently in a client's home Are dependable, attentive and comfortable making decisions Take initiative and look for solutions Want to build consistent relationships with older adults
Qualifications:
Professional or family caregiving experience preferred Experience assisting with activities of daily living preferred Dementia, memory-care or transfer experience is helpful for some opportunities Ability to pass a state-mandated background check Reliable transportation Valid driver's license and auto insurance preferred Comfortable working in homes that may have pets Reliable smartphone access for communication and documentation
Compensation:
