Job Description

We are seeking an exceptional caregiver to provide one-on-one care for a wonderful older gentleman in his home. This is not a fast-paced facility position. We believe in slowing down, building trust, and caring for the whole person with dignity, patience, and kindness. Position Details Part-time Approximately 20 hours per week $22-25/hour (based on experience) One consistent client Flexible scheduling with some weekday availability preferred Responsibilities Companionship and meaningful conversation Medication reminders Light meal preparation Light housekeeping and laundry Assistance with mobility and fall prevention Transportation to appointments and errands (if needed) Encouraging independence while providing appropriate support Monitoring changes in physical or emotional condition and communicating concerns promptly Creating a peaceful, clean, and safe home environment Our Ideal Caregiver We're looking for someone who is: Warm, patient, and dependable Emotionally mature Honest and trustworthy Comfortable working independently Excellent communicator Observant and proactive Respectful of client privacy and dignity Able to build genuine relationships with clients and families Healthcare experience is preferred, but we also value caregivers with strong life experience and a true heart for serving others. Requirements Reliable transportation Valid driver's license Ability to pass a background check Ability to lift up to 25 pounds CPR certification preferred (or willingness to obtain) Previous caregiving experience preferred Why Work With Still Waters?
