Overview We are seeking a dedicated Female Caregiver in TX to join our team for weekend shifts, including Fridays through Sundays, with both daytime and overnight responsibilities. This role offers an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of clients requiring assistance with daily activities, memory care, and health management. The ideal candidate will possess a compassionate nature, strong caregiving skills, and experience working with diverse populations including seniors and individuals with disabilities. Responsibilities Provide personal care assistance, including help with bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support. Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as meal preparation, medication reminders, and light housekeeping. Monitor patients' health status by observing vital signs and reporting any changes to healthcare professionals promptly. Support clients with memory care needs, including Alzheimer's and dementia care, ensuring a safe and supportive environment. Operate patient transfer equipment such as Hoyer lifts safely and effectively while adhering to manual handling protocols. Maintain detailed documentation of care plans, patient observations, and communication with family members or healthcare teams. Ensure a clean, safe living environment by performing light cleaning tasks and adhering to infection control standards. Provide transportation assistance for medical appointments or community outings when required. Requirements Proven experience in group home settings, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments. Knowledge of patient observation techniques, medication administration, and vital signs monitoring. Familiarity with dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory support strategies, and neurodevelopmental disorders. Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and patient transfers using appropriate equipment. Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; additional training in hospice or hospice care is a plus. Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and documentation purposes. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or intellectual disabilities is highly desirable. Ability to work flexible hours on Fridays through Sundays during day shifts or overnight shifts while maintaining professionalism and compassion. Pay:
